Try shutting down your iPhone, re-start it, and then connect to your vehicle via Bluetooth.

My 2024 S8 connected via Bluetooth the first time with no issues and is recognized every time. No MMI connectivity of functional issues at all to-date.

I'm traveling through the 15th and will try these fixes when I return. Thanks to all. Still kind of weird it's been so funky vs. other cars I've owned.

Just spent an hour with the service advisor at my Audi dealer; no luck on getting wireless carplay working. He said Audi is aware of the problem and is trying to solve it. That's right, a software issue. Crazy that I have to plug it in to get carplay. Other than that, fabulous car.
