Arrow Wrapping a brand new A8 W12 2014 (D4)

Hi there,

I am a new owner and a member of Audi. Before that I owned two cars. Bentley Continental GT 2012 for weekends, and Ford Taurus SHO 2011 for long roads commuting.

Sold the Bentley (became a daddy), after that I ended up with three choices for the family:
- Merc S500 class (W222) 2014
- BMW 760 2014
- Audi A8 W12 (D4) 2014

Well, let me tell you. This silent beast is freakin scary. I can sense its breath of fire while just driving below 2 RPM. It feeds with mileage like a dinosaur.

Anyways back on topic,

I am planning to wrap it with pearl white. Its factory brand new. The thing is that when you de-badge a car like this, knowing that it just came out from Germany, and ruin the genuinity of its body. Going through re-sticking process of all chrome and badge parts, feels like it is going to have problems in the future. This is what I sense. But again, I want to wrap it to keep my paint clean.

I mean, the company is charging 8160$ for the whole thing. Pear white with a shiny effect. Just like it is factory painted (Phantom Black). I've seen some examples on the street. Believe me, it is worth the look.

This is an example of a Range Rover Sport done on the same color.

Its a go or no go decision. So please advise.

Cheers

I have put 10K miles on mine and kind of wish I had done at least a clear bra. The front bumper looks like the moon when you examine closely because of all the road debris. If you live near the sand, definitely strongly consider the wrap. It just so happens these cars look amazing in white.

Any quality shop should be able to get the badges back on with industrial strength double-sided tape.
