Regarding an A8 L and APR, I had them on the phone today to discuss applying their DP exhaust kit which is only listed as compatible with the S8. Apparently some have taken it and added additional length to compensate for the LWB. Has anyone here done the same? My thinking is to address the 1k/3k issue with my car which is out of warranty with the APR DP instead of replacing w/stock. At the same time I would apply the stage 1 ecu upgrade.
Assuming this plan of action what do you all think of then applying the stage 2 ecu tune?

Note APR does not offer Stage 2 software, or 3. With Stage 1 I had a top speed of 189. SRM (Silly Rabbit Motorsports) intakes and CHRA turbos and a custom tune (BMS Tuning) I知 at 194. Dyno had 500whp. MPG also improved.
SRM Stage 1 intercooler (brushless water pump) upgrade to be installed shortly. Goal is 200mph.

You値l want the LWB kit option for the APR downpipes. The pipe with the kit is for the S8 will not be long enough for the A8L, but you値l want the clamps. My installer just cut my stock exhaust pipe to use for an extension with the clamps provided with the APR LWB kit. APR basically sees the A8 4.0L as the red headed step child. Thank god for SRM.
