Looks like you're a panther about to crawl out of the lair after some unsuspecting lamb.

How did it do in the race? I imagine those coupes might have had a better time of it in the dirt tho the quattro may have evened it up a bit.

Different kind of rally. Think of it as a bunch of like minded car nuts getting together to explore the best country roads in a region and have fun. Some people go hard while others enjoy the scenery. Whatever the S8 lacks in agility it easily makes it up in powering out of turns and dominating sweepers and straight lines.

One thing I will caution against is using spacers on your setup for road rallying. This particular route had tons of roller coaster type hills and hard elevation changes that I got lots of rub on the rear fenders. Had to update my level control twice to compensate for hard cornering.

Oh ok; my mind went immediately to 'race' - but those kinds of rallies sound like a lot of fun, too. I think any time car enthusiasts can get together for a good time no drama is a great thing. Good info on the spacers- wonder if I should rethink the square setup I was envisioning from one of these wheel manufacturers. But then, I'm more of a straight line type of guy so maybe not such a big deal for me.

iamghana - that is a GREAT shot, I miss that backdrop. What's noteworthy is that you're in the BK but that ride is still shiny as it was when new, kudos to you man!

thank you! and yes, you really can’t go wrong with NYC as a back drop.
