Thanks for all the great ideas. I have to say that this makes me smile - knowing that lots of folks here are going out of their way to do something nice for our service providers. Thank you, love it.
I'll def be bringing doughnuts / beers / pizza next time around, see how that goes down.

Aside from this, I've found that what's really appreciated by the SA's is just to be fair and a gentleman with them. I've seen first hand all the entitled A-holes that they have to regularly deal with and placate, and just being a mensch and treating them with proper respect gets reciprocated in many positive ways.
as an SA, I concur....being a mensch (just an all around good guy) is a tremendous thank you

Donuts are always good, or a gift card for someplace for lunch, etc. I've had clients insist on giving me cash lol

nothing at all is expected, but it is always appreciated

People always like the Dunkin' Donuts or Starbuck's gift card.

I am having the same experience after a recent re-location. Took my A8 in for 75k service, now my CEL is on. I had to take it right back and get to spend the weekend without my car. The service advisor couldn't even be bothered to tell me what the plan was after getting me a loaner; he just went back to his conversation with a co-worker. Don't even get me started on the fact it took a week for the service and to replace some worn out bushings...lol.
