Moving from Air suspension to DRC?
Hello,
I currently drive a 2012 A8L with a 4.2 V8. I am considering a move to a 2016 RS7 with DRC suspension on 20" wheels. I have read/reviewed that DRC is a stiffer ride compared to Air suspension. I seldom drive my A8 in the Comfort suspension setting. I use Dynamic 60% of Auto 38%.
Knowing that I drive in Dynamic and Auto only, will the DRC be too rough riding compared to my A8? What is the Comfort setting in DRC compared to in Air suspension? I am asking this group because, most likely, individuals here have driven or cross-shopped air suspension and DRC Audis.
By the way, I asked the same question on the C7 RS7 forum, but it has not received any replies yet.
Thanks in advance.
David

The A8 is a softer car in general, DRC is quite interesting......it not harsh in the sense of really hard springs it just makes body motion events really short and minimal. Lots of force with very little movement, the D4 with sport suspension etc is actually not as far off as you would think since the RS7s are so damn heavy
