Oddly the prefacelift A8s and S8s had incandescent bulbs in a few locations despite Audi leaning hard into the ‘LED everything’ lifestyle. The reverse lights, license plate lights, trunk and glovebox are the only non-LED lights in the car. Here’s a little easy DIY video I made for upgrading the trunk and glovebox lights

The lights I chose came after a lot of research since there’s SO many compatible LED bulbs you can use. In the end I decided to go for something high quality because I only wanted to do this once and I wanted to have good, clean light without the risk of things getting too hot or burning out after a year: link to bulbs
