Has anyone done anything to make the A8 sound...better/louder? I have a 2013 4.0T and was wondering if anyone has done something like a resonator delete or a straight pipe through muffler etc?

Yes - put it in S, and crack both sunroofs. Sounds amazing.

It is a luxury sedan not a sports car. Not sure you are going to find may who have done much to change the car in general.

Did not mean to be a smartass... but yeah, what Lazydog said.
There are a few around here who've done mods, but not many.

Give it time and that too will be different.
My want to talk to APR and see what they have to say.

No worries man, was not taken in smart *** way, you are right in saying majority of people don't do anything like this to the car.

Thanks, I will speak with them as well as I intend to get the ECU upgrade from them sometime in the near future

Ha, yeah, I'm the smartass who's changed lots of things :-)

Took out the rear silencers (mufflers), but as I've a 4.2 diesel, it just makes the sound deeper, not particularly louder. Good luck/

So not that anybody cares, but I took out both the rear and one of the middle mufflers and straight piped in their place, and the car sounds like a monster. I am in love with it, but at the same time I can definitely see that it is not for everyone, and probably not for 99% of the people who have this car. Thanks all for your responses!
