Exclusive paint
I just bought a very well-loved 2017 A8 from a dealer in Indianapolis, when I was looking at photos from the dealership, it looked like it was going to be an Ipanema Brown, but when I saw it in person, it was clearly more orange than the dealer photos displayed.
To me, it looks like maybe Samoa Orange, but I really don't know how to validate that, the redundant sticker within the documentation just displays blanks for the paint code. The build sheet I downloaded from erWin didn't have any better information either, just that it is an Exclusive paint option.
Even my phone isn't picking up very well on the orange, I'll need to grab a better photo when its sunny outside.

I'm the stereotypical Audi owner, the last two cars have been a 10 A6 in Condor Grey and the car next to this one is the 08 S8 in Daytona Pearl. What looks like a burnt orange metallic looks fantastic on a D4 and it's going to draw far more attention than I would prefer, but I couldn't say no to this one.

Certainly looks like Ipanema in the photo but that’s not too accurate as you found out
It could be Ipanema or Samoa because they were both on the approved list for 2017, also possible that it’s Paprika Metallic
AoA can tell you for sure if you call or email

Another overcast day, so maybe?
Garage shot I did some color correction while standing next to it, that's the best my eyes can do. I'll see if I can get AoA via email, i tend to not be available during business hours to make a call.

AoA gave me an answer based on my VIN.
Cosmos Blue Metallic. I think I'll send this set of photos and the build sheet and they can take another crack at it. In my eyes, it's orange. But also brown. But I think more orange than brown. Definitely not blue though. I will admit I do have known color discrepancies.
Reasonably sunny day for March in Indiana.

I'm inclined to agree, but I don't understand how there is absolutely no documentation on what I have. Is that typical for a car.with Exclusive options, only the original owner truly knows what they have?
