Easy to clean wheels?

Hard to tell from that angle but are those the twisted spoke ones? I like them as well. I just had the brakes done less than a year ago (about 5k miles) - I'm loathe to switch them out now.

His tires looked like pillows- he can say what he likes, they looked a tad ridiculous to me. Having larger rims doesn't make the car handle like a 4x4 truck unless it did to begin with. To each their own though!

I heard there was also some guy talking about the idea on YouTube. Some of those videos are challenging though since the banjo from Deliverance can be a bit loud in the mix. Plus, we know from a 12 year old article in a car mag with a Golf four banger, they're the hot ticket. You know, the Mk 6 at about ⅔ the weight, transverse FWD and probably a beam axle in back, plus the stamped steel double wishbone suspension up front and maybe 280's on with single piston sliders.
Anyway, since some of us fancy W12's and S8's, those 18's would be particularly easy to clean. Nevermind that they will be on a pile on your garage floor...given the clearance to those pesky 400mm Brembo's will be just a bit problematic... But, they'll polish up real nice with it so easy to reach inside every barrel. Heck, either take the grinder to those Brembo's or rid of them outright for some hot set ups like the Mk 6 or Q5 to continue the value subtract theme; then it will be even more like the 12 year old test.

I'm not sure where thr direction of this thread went...but...
I have probably some of the worst wheels to clean...BBS LMs on my S4 and BBS CH-RII on my A8. Haven't made the change to ceramic pads yet.
I found that using a good ceramic coating and products like Adam's wheel cleaner make the job much easier. Add a small pressure washer and good wheel brush and your set.
