D4 Owners Who Previously Owned D3's - What do you like / dislike about your D4?

I like the body style of the D4 better, I definately like the TDI more than the 4.2.
Miss the B&O and the adaptable cruise control.
Love the torque of the TDI with the Malone tune

Going from(and still owning) a loaded up 08 S8 to a mid/upper mid spec 17 A8L 4.0... I realized very quickly that the 08 leather, aluminum, carbon fiber or alcantara everything was perfect. There are some plastic pieces in the 17 that are just horrible in comparison. And the 4.0TT/8HP has nothing on the 5.2/6HP in terms of linear or predictable response.
Externally, I love both. Each are symbolic of their own era. The D4 has understandably better lighting and tech.
Driving, the S8 I have changed a lot to make it into somewhat of a posh anti-social toy, every input I feed it, the response is immediate and satisfying and there is always a beckoning for more. The A8, I haven't truly pushed yet, the ability to run it up to 100 in near silence is weird and unsettling, I'm used to the bark and howl from the 10. It seems to handle well for being roughly the size and weight of The Queen Mary. It's also a lot quieter in comparison to the S8, but there is also a lot of poly bushing, aggressive alignment, modified exhaust going on with that car.
It does make me want for a fairly high displacement, high RPM NA engine in front of the 8HP. If the 6.3 W12 spun up to and made power to 7000 or 7500, that might be perfect. D4 interior optioned up the way my D3 was would also fix the couple of complaints I have there.
