Bose improvement
Finally got my MMI software updated to the most recent (v814) and lo and behold the Bose system which was a major disappointment, has been vastly improved! I would urge those who think the Bose is the worst sound system in a luxury car (as I did) to harass your dealer if needed for the upgrade. I managed to get the upgrade at no cost after some serious complaining. But to the dealer's credit they did it and I'm very happy with the sound system. No B&O or course but why would it be? My system prior to the update sounded like a transistor radio....guess I just dated myself!

How do you find what version is installed.
My bose sounds off sometimes, I adjusted the equalizer on the Iphone (it was set to off) and it sounds great now, i think?
I could hear a little rattle coming from the back on some of the bass notes around the center speaker, took it in but they could not replicate it, but the technician heard it when he listened at the initial inquiry, so they did sod all, but it sounds better now.

Thanks I've found it and it has the latest version, I changed the EQ settings on my iPhone to (rock) and it did make quite a difference.
The thing I noticed was my iPhone kept turning the EQ off after connecting to the MMi, what I did was turn off sound check and it looks to have retained the settings, this could ave been part of the problem.

Just tested all the other and there fine it must be the update that finally sorts it.
I do have a little rattle on one of the rear speakers but only on one song Arrggghhh.
Clean bandit---rather be, it rattles at the beat.
