Here's another one...
If you call someone using Bluetooth and they are having hard time hearing you, turn the AC vents to point down. Sometime the airflow will interfere with Bluetooth mic.

The car has a terrible blind spot for changing lanes to the right. I have to turn my head to look instead of relying on the right side mirror and even then I sometimes have to really stare a couple of seconds to make sure I am clear, which is a little dangerous taking your eyes off the road for that long.

Some thoughts
Thanks for all the great information!
I just got a 2013 A8L 3.0 and I really like it. Too many things that are really great about this car to list.
My last car was a 2007 Mercedes S550. There are a few things that I liked about my old Benz that I wish the Audi had:
1. It's missing a little button at the trunk to lock the doors. Sounds like a little thing but I got used to popping the tunk to get stuff out and locking the car from the trunk.
2. The door lock buttons on the outside of the door handles need to be pressed exactly at the button. The Benz locked when you out your hand anywhere on the outside of the handle.
3. I really don't like that the automatically folding exterior mirrors wait to fold back out until you start the car. On the Benz they fold out when you unlock the car. Again, sounds like a small thing but when you I in and want to back out right away I'm finding that I need to wait for the mirrors to fold into place.
4. I really miss the dedicated phone numeric keypad in the center. I have Google Voice and I need to press "1" to answer a call. This requires fumbling with the MMI **** & reading the warning about using the system in order to get to the number screen. All the while the phone is ringing. Also, it's so much easier to enter numbers on a keypad rather than turning the **** back and forth. Can't figure out why Audi didn't put 10 numbers on the useless handwriting thingamajig? There's plenty of space for it.
5. I'm getting used to the ride but it's much stiffer than the Benz with much more of a bumpy ride even when set on comfort. Might be due to my 20" tires? It is much more fun to drive in the canyons though!
6. I miss the closet space. No center storage area (except for the little bit where the Ipod goes, no storage under the front seats, no ashtray for trash.
7. I might have made a mistake with the panoramic sunroof. Don't really care if the rear passengers can see the moon, the black roof makes the car very hot in the sun. I changed from a black car to a white car thinking it would be cooler in the L.A. summers, but the black roof and all the glass make it worse.
8. Google maps are fun and novel, but I've found the nav works better with it turned off. I like to see the street names coming up rather than the buildings. Just a preference.
Ok, that's it. I do really love the car and I realize that every car has it's pluses and minuses. I love the Adaptive Cruise Control and all the fun tech stuff. The 22 way massaging seats are awesome. The leather, wood and fit and finish are first class. Much better ventilated seats than the Benz, and I like that they come back on when you turn the car off and on. I like the engine stop/start feature because I feel like I'm saving gas, even though it's probably not much. I wish I didn't have to press and hold the brake pedal so hard to make it work.
