This is so awesome.

IIRC your time are what I was hitting. I ran a couple and then they pulled me out to throw in a lighter driver for the stock, 93 and 100 runs. When I say lighter, I mean way light, like 125 vs 210 lbs light.

We brake boosted at the line. Got to maybe 2600 RPM and released. We had the best luck when making sure the driver stayed in the sticky part of the track, but he was kinda all over on some of the runs. Put it in dynamic, lowered all the way, windows up, dynamic/sport, ESP off, all other features off (no seat cooler or massager, ).

It may be nice to mention the S8 was back on the dyno today for some more work. We're coming out with new parts, and were testing the results. Picked up some good power already so keep an eye out if it's not fast enough for yah (doubtful).

Anyways, thanks for sharing this video. I put it on our facebook page.

Any chance you guys will break into the 10's? I imagine the new Panamera Turbo S will see 10's. Also how close is the S8 motor/turbo combo to the RS7/RS6 motor/turbo combo?

Just going off of reviews, the RS7 has 0.5 mm less stroke, higher compression, and a slightly different turbo with an internal ceramic lining that reduces clearance between the turbine and the housing and boosts boost.

That turbo sounds interesting. Can APR or anyone comment?

I'm also curious if there is any data on MPG improvements with the tuned ECU. I rarely get a chance to use all of the power of my S8 where I live but I a MPG improvement with regular daily driving would be obvious right away.

The s8 has two air intakes which is a big advantage. More air means apr can tune more.

I am waiting a month more to tune my s8. Waiting for all the last minute adjustments to the tune.

That statement conflicts with the AudiWorld article on the RS7 in comparing the S8 engine to the RS7: "The RS 7 makes all of that extra power through the use of different turbochargers, as well as different intake and exhaust manifolds for more efficient breathing."
