I would assume so. Which ones are you looking at? The offset is molded into the back of each wheel.
My car (which has the stock 19" turbines) came with all-season tires on some 17"s (IIRC) from an A4(!) like those pictured, which (reportedly) fit!

Default Yes...; experience and reference sources

Those will cross over and be similar, except Audi A6's in that era generally had narrower rims than the typical minimum 8 1/2's you find on D3s. Often only 7", except 8" on many A6 4.2 OE wheels. The A6 offsets of the era were generally in the mid 40s for the V6's (2.8, 3.0, 2.7T), except were in the mid 30's on the A6 4.2 with the fender flares. Either should fit. The C5 wheels will not be milled for TPMS sensors internally as an FYI; I know this from my C5 A6 OE wheels, including the 2003 RS6 ones I have [very rare as genuine OE, and the only ones that got as wide as 8 1/2's]. You need at least 17's with D3 4.2 brake sizes, and 18's with S8's or W12's.

You can also run C6 wheels from the following A6 generation. A lot of those around, and they were somewhat wider. The C7 wheels, like the current D4 wheels, are where you run into the newer style larger hub issue, which started with the A5/S5 and then propagated to all the newer relevant Audis. Thus, easier to avoid the complications with wheels from the current D4, A5/S5/RS5, B8 A4/S4 and Q5 era.

Last, if the ad you are looking at doesn't have specs, what I do is just look elsewhere for another ad with the same wheels to get the specs like offset if it's an OE wheel. Here is also a pretty cool website--albeit it in German--someone on the D4 board pointed me to recently. Indexed by both model and size for many generations of Audi OE wheels. If you need to translate something, display it through something like Google Chrome with the real time page translator function. http://www.original-felgen.com
