Earlier this day, I had to buy a nautical chart and therefore had to travel about 100 kilometres on the Autobahn. Normally, this is quite fun, because this special autobahn has three lanes and no speedlimit. I took the BMW 530d, because the car is quite new and I wanted to see how it performs on the Autobahn. Travelling at about 200km/h (the two slower lanes were occupied with trucks and other cars), I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a new A8 approaching way too fast. Well, then something "funny" happened: He approached further and further and in the end there were maybe two metres between my car and the A8. His car looked like a christmas tree, he used his Xenons, fog lights and indicator to show me how fast his car is. I accelerated a bit, because there was no possibility to change the lanes, but obviously this guy saw no possibility to accept this. When he passed me, his "lady" on the passenger seat gave me a look which indicated how proud she was that her husband was such a "hero".

Please don´t get me wrong, I really don´t want to offend anyone here. I am a longtime Audi owner and still have and love my TT. I always appreciated Audi drivers, because I always judged them to be fair.....But in the last months, I had more and more experiences like that, which is kinda sad. When I bought the BMW, I thought that the main thing I didn´t really like about it was the people driving it (at least here in Germany, a lot of Bimmer guys are just acting crazy when they´re in their cars).
And it´s very sad to see that there are more and more Audi drivers which try to adapt the "cool" driving styles of many BMW owners...

Enjoy your beatiful cars, they´re very well made! Still miss the beautifully made interior interior of my A6.....The 5 handles nice, but it lacks Audi´s build quality.
