No specific info here
I am a DIY'er and rarely use shops except basic tire & wheel, and the rare tranny or clutch jobs. Thus no good first person knowledge beyond those areas and the dealership I usually use for warranty (Rector).
I would try the NorCal regional boards both on AW and on QW. IIRC there are some shops that cater more to Audis in places like RWC, Campbell and Palo Alto among others.

I live in SF and I'm trying to get my car lowered (trying to get my stance perfect) via VAG. If anyone can help me or point me to the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. My car currently is in the body shop at the moment but hopefully be out in 2 weeks. Euro Motor Cars in SF is where i take my car for maintenance. They are pretty familiar with VAG and is a pretty good shop but doesn't seem to get my stance correct every time I take it there. I have a friend who works for Audi mechanic in Oakland but I am looking for other options as far as enthusiast shops in the area. Would also like to meet other D3 owners out here.
