Default Upgrade Update!

Hi all, Just thought I'd post a few pics of ongoing upgrades.
Is slow as sourcing parts cheaply is main priority.

Have a big box of goodies coming next week, body kit, amaretto leather so will keep me busy for a while. Havent made a dicision on wheels to finish it off, like the current wheels so will see if they suit body kit but guessing not.

have been a real ebay ***** and terry tight **** to get this far but as we all now parts are not cheap.

Feel free to friend me to see how this turns out, will bang in a proper post once all completed.

Can provide some basic knowledge on how things are done and where to source, costs etc if you like, just pm me.

Thanks for sharing. Looking GREAT. Look forward to seeing the 'completed' car (well maybe, as it is rare that we are ever 'done'!!!).

You can unplug the motor or, if the gear is broken, prop it up mechanically.

My MMI is stuffed!!!!!!

Fuse out, MMI in bootloader, have put up previous posts.
STATUS: have got 1100 and 5150
CD changer is faulty(??) got another one(yes CP I know)
CD changer front lights cycle through,no disc load, CP I guess. Posts here indicated you could update in bootloader mode even if CP active? apparently not. Probably shouldnt have gone through bootloader and up to that point hadnt used cd changer so never tested if faulty or not.

Planning on taking it some time soon to remove CP on CD changer then try to run discs again, see if they can help at audi but here in Oz have had technicians over the phone ask me about CP? WTF, I'm supposed to be asking you!!!!!!!!!!

Not looking good but will try them anyway, they're not going to say no to hoist time are they!In fact he recommended and didnt even have any assurances on CP removal upfront, oh, this is going to be good lol

Please take off that spoiler... It looks awful, definitely has the aftermarket (in a bad way) look.
