True convert from the quarter to eight

I just picked up my black on black 2008 S8 from the dealer on Saturday. I have been a die hard BMW fan/owner for over 20 years. Since the age of 18 have only owned BMW...2002ti, 635csi, 328i, 528i, and most recently 745i. Never thought I would ever move off of Bimmer. Over the last 8 months, I tested the Quattroporte, 760 and Benz in search of a new car. A good friend of mine suggested an Audi S8. Since they are hard to find and test, I had to order one with a refundable deposit. I ordered it fully loaded and always thought I would take one look and ask for my deposit back.
Upon seeing and driving it on Saturday, I was hooked. This is the baddest A car I have ever driven. Never in a million years would I have thought an Audi would be better than BMW or Benz. I am converted, especially after rolling with the Bang & Olufsen stereo for the past couple of days.
Anybody know anyone that wants to buy a used quarter to eight? I won't be needing it any more.

Congrats! I agree with you as well. I've owned 4 M5's since 2000 and I have to admit I love my S8. The bimmers still have an edge on the handling magic though. But that Audi interior is the best with the exclusive option. Enjoy!

Glad to hear you like it -- it is a great car. I traded an AMG Benz for my A8 and have no regrets at all. Wait till you see how much better it is in lousy weather, too!
