My car is happy as can be now with the green. I was out about $500 in fluid to swap over. I've still got I think 4 liters of the stuff left if anyone needs it, along with one liter of the super exotic center diff fluid.

Today I was quoted $468 for the fluid alone. What has everyone else paid for a transmission flush?

You need 6 liters of this and this two. Every shop can flush it.

+1

that's exactly what i purchased
so it cost me $120 for parts and $115 for fluid ($235 total out of pocket),
and two hours of my time, that's what it took me to lift the car up,
drop the pan, clean the pan, replace the gasket and filter, put the filter and pan back on and tighten 24 screws i think that hold the pan up...

wifey started the car while i was filling it up, she went through all the gears while i wise overfilling it and VOILA!.

pretty easy job, just have to be careful about the ambient temperature
and how long the car is running while you are filling the oil.
can't get too hot!

otherwise local Audi stealer quoted me almost $800
and "friendly" local shop quoted me $440 for parts and fluid and i think $240 for labor.
