Tire Brands (255/45 R18)
Hey guys!
Cannot search on the forum. Is it only me or everybody experiencing this?
I'm looking for all season tires for my Audi A8L 2004. (255/45 R18 - OEM five spoke rims). Currently I have a bit worn out winter tires installed).
Did anybody have an experience with the following tires:
Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S ( $1,160.00 CAN + tax )
Toyo Proxes 4 ($1,170.00 CAN + tax )
Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus ( $1,400.00 CAN + tax)
It would be great to get some input for these tires as well as others. Is it worth to pay more money for Michelin?
Originally I was planning to get a new set of rims (MRR-HR4 255/35 R20 - diamond cut. see the link) and summer tires. But decided to invest the money difference elsewhere...
Thank you in advance!<ul><li><a href="http://s72.photobucket.com/albums/i193/djkynz/D3%20A8%20S8%20Gallery/?action=view&current=57.jpg">Link to Audi A8 on MRR HR-4 wheels</a></li></ul>

I have had 3 sets of Nexen N3000 and they are awesome for $600
You can get them on ebay for $500 easy
I get around 32K on them and they are quiet and great rain tire as well.

Have you found the Michelin's to be quieter than the Conti's? I find the Conti's seem to transmit a lot of road noise into the car, which is subpar for an $80k automobile.

Very quiet compared to the Conti's...
I couldn't wait to get the Conti's off my car because of noise and weak sidewalls. The Michelin's are fantastic. I have dual pane window glass so the car is very quiet inside.

Bridgestone Serenity - best mileage warranty, super quiet, excellent ratings, good cornering and all with a higher load rating! A little pricey but worth it. Have had them for 10K miles and wearing great and zero noise. Went with these after the pirellis started to sound like truck tires howling down the road.
