Default Seat heater question

Will passenger side seat heaer heatt without the weight of a person? And yes, I turned it on and felt for warmth, but have had positive and negative results, so I'm wondering if their is a trick to it.

Mine heats when no one is sitting in it. Rear seats require weight.

How about microwave oven instead of fridge?

Hey all,

I have found that the Rear Drivers side does not seem work even with weight in the seat.

I know that there is a Controller (NO Rear AC Control head, just the heated seat controller), there is the heating element, the seat pressure switch , and the Seat heating Module (Under the bench).

Does any one have any knowledge of how to trouble shoot in order to find which part is bad.

Thanks ahead of time..

Dan

Default And presumably, the plugs and fuses.

I would start there first. No other experience w/ it, though my passing sense from Audi repair stuff and TSBs over the years/models is after basic wiring, it could be in the heating element itself since it takes physical abuse/wear with people on the seats.
