I should have included more info...34 lbs front and rear, which is what the fuel door calls for, 4 wheel align (they even go so far as to place weight in the car to simulate weight when driven) and not only have I not hit a pothole in the year I have had these tires I dont even drive over manhole covers.
One X factor is that these are the first set of tires that I rotated by going backs to front and fronts crossed to the rear. Dont know if that was a contributor, but next set will be done in the usual front-to-back-back-to-front method.

All I can say is that high sppeds and aggressive cornering affect tire life. I usually get about 45-50,000 miles out of my Michelins. Last set was barely 30,000. However, I had the speed limiter removed and have had many 150+ mph runs. Now I understand why tires get changed so often in races.

Cross rotation is not the culprit of your premature wear. If anything it should help.
