Pre History.
Purchased car from Auction, ran history on it. Seems that this vehicle had been in service for regular check ups at least 1once in every 3 months. Currenty on car is 51k Miles. Thants why I got it .
Now when I got it, it didn't have Kessy Moduly( Module that is Anti theft Module located under Driver seat). What the dealer who serviced it last stated - was damaged from water damage.
Car had little water inside. fresh water. and all windows were down . so NEXT>
I purchased the following to swap the ECUs:
Engine ECU, Key, Ignition, Kessy Module, Steering Column, Speedometer, and the driver door handle( has some kind of module)
I was able to get the car to start and it now - when i put it in drive,- It doesn't do anything,
I will scan it with fancy computer tomorrow to see. ANY thoughts are dearly welcomed!

Am I able to reprogram the Transmission module or even dela with inside of transmission module ? Or screw it all and put everything as it was before without the Kessy Module and bring it to AUDI, buy brand new Kessy Module for 1 thousand dollars Plus Programming that damn thing and see what else?>

A8 is operated purely with high/low tech electronics, you don't know how long it's been sitting, corroded connectors are the worst thing to troubleshoot. You should read the forum before purchasing it, there are quite a few of those up here. Someone even bought a spare car and didn't even do it well.
Even if you replace all electronic modules, it doesn't guarantee the car will run if the connectors are corroded.
Expensive computer scan won't help you. Ask yourself at what point to cut loss and move on? I'm sure you're a savvy mechanic who believed this is a great deal and easy fix.
