Well, you still can get 3 D3 W12's for that D4.

What color? Black is absence of color.

More likely I'll order a D5 W12

Would have this time, but didn't want to spend the extra 2 D3 W12s on it right now

I think it won't be available. Turbo era is back. TFSI has to reach and overtake TDI. Formula 1 is good indicator of development direction. Engines will be way smaller, busted with few turbos, developing more power from less fuel and less weight.

Update:
1. Installed AMI last night, working perfect with 41.4, same as with 46.1; haven't noticed any differences
2. About to do some vcds tweaks (seat belt chime delete, convenience windows (if it isn't already enabled), disable soft close doors for driv. and pass., and re-enable battery meter.

Just went to a local Michigan car meet and was referred to as "the transporter". Many people were intimidated by the car lol and received many compliments on it.

As I have mentioned before, my plan is to buy a two year old D5. Not even thinking about the engine. However, things could get derailed if I buy an R8 in the next seven or eight years.....

Default +1; I see the 4.2 is already a goner on the 2013 D4

I'm surprised the W12 even made it back for a D4 reprise.

Meanwhile, the 2013 D4's already have a 4.0T option at 420 HP that is faster than the D3 W12 or S8. 4.2 now gone. Was gone from Q7 a few years back, and in last of the S5's recently. It looks like the more highly tweaked 4.2 is down to the R8 and new RS5 now.

Wow Brozee, what a great story! First of all, congrats on the D3 W12. The W12 is really in a league of its own and that's saying a lot considering the 4.2 is perfectly fine as it is. The car looks fantastic.

Next item...it's Marian Hossa! Geez, picking up an A8L W12 would've been enough to make most people's day, I have to say that's pretty awesome that Hossa himself invited you out for dinner. What a nice thing to do. What else did you guys talk about besides the obvious lockout? What's Marian doing to keep himself busy?

Default W12 "Transporter"

I used to get that line about Transporter a lot, especially from younger guys. I guess the car made a big impression on them in the movie.
