Hello all Has anyone had problems with the mmi other day mine decided to stop working screen stays down none of buttons will light up and on/off button does nothing but the cd multi hanger and dvd for the sat nav work as you can eject and load the discs and when when start up car you can hear noises from speakers like it's trying to start up

Not at hand might be able to get some point its a pain at moment as no music but can't ajust suspension or sat nav

I know, I just sorted an issue with my MMI system yesterday.

I had a break in the optical circuit which created the same problems you have.

A quick scan with vcds told me the issue was between the two media players so was quickly found, with out vcds you will spend ages stumbling around and could potentially make things worse.

Try a few of the UK based Audi forums to see if there is a member in Aberdeenshire with vcds to do you a favour.

Left rear button (I forgot what button it is) + Big **** + Top Front button (simultaneously).

As I understand - the volume **** should raise the MMI screen if the electrical gets to the control panel. Find out where the fuse of the control panel and check. All the fuses of MMI.
The MOST bus comes second.
