If you want to save more I can give you few sites with all kind of cracks and keygens.

No idea what that means, gramps. But, an OEM nav disc without the "Audi Tax"? I'll do that all day long.

You have MMI version 41.4 which is perfectly up to date and fine. (Same thing as 46.1) and you have nav version 2007. Both are easily still usable, if you want to update the nav to the 12/13 you can. Although, it will run you $200 +/- for a new OEM nav disc.

Got my DVD a few days ago. Paid 105.00 for it with free shipping for my 2007 A3. As someone else noted, no change to the graphics per say, however the system loaded well, and runs perfectly. Additionally, as an unexpected benefit, I no longer have to do the obligatory legal disclaimer acceptance ever single time I start the car even if it is not in Nav mode. This is almost worth the price of the upgrade.

Good luck.

Out of curiosity, have you tried to see if you can go "back" to the old/original copy of the Nav disc once you've used this updated 2012-2013 disc?
Has anyone tried yet to see if the Nav system is backwards-compatible with the old/original navigation disc? I've had the "new" 2012-2013 disc sitting here, but have been hesitant to install it in case I have any issues and can't go back to the original disc.

Anyone that's done the upgrade to the so-called 2012-2013 disc want to try to pop in their old one for testing?

On 7/ 25/ 13 of this thread I have a reply on this topic.

I was able to go back to Ver 4 . Since then I updated the MMI and have had little issues with this none oem disk.

I can not guarantee that you can go back but I was able to. (Before the MMI update)

What problems do you have with your MMI? I have both v5 & v6 and now running 2010 non-oem without any problems?

Did you have nav 5 or 6 after you upgrade to the latest MMI software? PM me if you want v5 or v6 or even both.

Cheers,

Louis

Thanks Louis

I do not have any problem with the MMI. I installed Ver 4610.. fixed all the items that dropped (Including AC setup display).

My version of Nav is the 12-13 (Non-OEM from east Europe) It functions well, though i still get from time to time a check disk (like every 2 to 3 week or so).

It may also be an issue with the Nav player itself.. still not sure but it is not that annoying at this time.

I will let you know if I need the OEM ver 6 later, or I might just wait fro next years Ver and buy OEM from Audiparts USA.

Thanks Again for the offer.
