uncommon, I know. If I recall, VCDS shows true mileage someplace and cannot be changed.

vcd showed the mileage that I changed it to.

It showed it everywhere? The mileage would read what you changed it to when viewing the programming for the gauges, but elsewhere it should still read original mileage. At the very least, there is a log showing that it was modified.

You guys think that this D3 is low mile, well 4 years ago, I saw a maroon-colored 2006 Audi A8L on cars.com that reportedly had only 80 miles on the odometer, which I doubt is true, but was in like-new condition....
