Is that what it is? And just why someone wouldn't take 15 minutes to wipe it down before pics is beyond me! If that is how much care/pride they take in their listings then how much care would they take in prep and inspection?

Never wipe down a wet car unless you are drying it off from washing. If you do, you can damage the paint from unnoticed dirt.
