Subwoofer with fridge option
So I have an 06 A8L wit the fridge in the trunk. I want to add a subwoofer to one side of the fridge but the vents are a concern for me. I am curious if anyone here has blocked any of those vents, and if so if it causes any problems for the fridge. I will not remove the fridge for the sake of more bass, just want to use one side for a sub. Thanks.

Go for it.
I block all three sides of the car's fridge vents frequently, for days at a time and without any consequence. My recommendation is to allow for as much air flow as possible, especially at the top, due to the heat rise. I believe you will have zero problems unless your proposed woofer radiates an abnormally high amount of heat. Once the fridge is at the set point, it puts out very little heat. The fabric barriers in the trunk space are mostly for impact protection for the fridge components.

Can you gents post pics (of install) or options you're looking at? I have the B&O setup and was thinking about removing the rear shelf sub and adding a aftermarket sub (mounted in the same spot) and amp.
