And get fluid checked. If any leaks underneath, it IS low on fluid. Has to be checked from underneath, with car warm and running. For most, that means a mechanic/garage who know ZF transmissions--Audi, BMW, Jag, most Euro automatics EXCEPT Mercs.

How about a picture of shifter assembly. I'm gonna guess that the accordion cover is ripped or broken. Underneath this cover are magnets which tell the electronic display what gear you should be in. Once again, a pic of your gear shift would.

Why not repair, or pay someone to repair the fault(s) that are displayed? Otherwise the manufacturer would just put a "fix problem by resetting fault codes" button in the vehicle..
