FLOOD IN MY CAR
yesterday morning I got to my car to find it flooded in the driver side foot well, after a heavy rainfall all night.
so after checking the drain outlets by the wiper motor, and finding out that they where not blocked, I started stripping out above the pedals, and found it was all wet near the ignition, light switch, and there was water in the fuse compartment!!!!
still not shore where it is coming from! any ideas?

Besides the drains you mention, ...
make sure the plastic cowling is all in place in the plenum area under the hood toward the windshield. I suppose check your heater/AC drains too that are buried under the carpeting on both sides of the center transmission/console hump. If water got in there (like via the HVAC filter in the cowling area), but the lower drain didn't route out under the car or was clogged, it could back up into the interior, just like it can in hot weather with the AC if those drains are blocked.

That's a good write up in the link.
No one mentioned where to find the rear sunroof drains, but i would say its imperative to find them.
On a D2 they're hidden behind the rear bumper. The easiest access is actually through the trunk. So check around the battery tray and see if the tube goes down by the rear wheel arch and out of the car the same way.
Also check the spare wheel and any other under carpet areas in the trunk for water ingress. Sure sign of blocked rear sunroof drains.

Sun roof drains
I took off the A pillar cover, and discovered that the drains for the sunroof run as a plastic tube into the A pillar, but after spraying water in to them, I could not see it coming out of any where! however, just above the sun visor where the plastic tray of the sunroof runs into the draining tube, seems to be leaking right there on to the roof lining!

Oh jesus. That is terrible.
In my older vw's the drains would sometimes clog with debris. I snaked the drain tubes with 4 wire telephone line. If Audi still mimics vw design, the front drains are at the bottom or behind the fender at the door area, rear tubes exit behind the bumpers on either side of the body.
