Ebrake, ESP, and Parking Brake issues!?!?!

Sorry to say but he is BSing you, or he doesn't know enough to be a mechanic. There is a ring on the wheel hub that the ABS sensor reads for wheel speed. This ring has grooves in it that the ABS sensor pics up. As long as that ring is moving with the tire then it should read the correct speed. If your wheels are moving at different speeds you would have some serious driveability problems like tire wear and it would put too much strain on the quattro system.

abs
I'll wait until someone scans the parking and abs control units.
parking reset/calibration off will not trigger abs light.
damaged sensor for abs and/or bad or wrong bearing can trigger both abs and parking brake lights.
bearings are not possible to install in other position than the one intended, they are assembly type that bolts to the carrier unlike the press one kind that can be installed in the opposite side (inner/outer) like Porsche cars and Audi like Q7.
there are a number of cars that use bearings of the same measurements as the A8 and don't have the ring built in for the abs sensor to read speed.
possible you got the wrong bearings?

Being dubious about the new bearing just because its some off brand I went ahead and bout a new bearing from *** supposedly it's the brand that makes VAG OEM bearings. Is this the ring that the abs reads the speed off the bearing/hub?

Did he perform VCDS/VAS scan? Or he knows what mistake he made and now he is covering it with that wrong bearings excuse. I don't see how wrong bearings could be installed. Even if they are close enough so that is possible, why would qualified mechanic do that. Are you supposed to pay for this?

Yea he could. He also cleared an airbag sensor.
He did a scan before he started taking the wheel apart and it said:
wheel speed sensor, rear right
-Faulty
-steady
It's some German program. I do see the sensor on the inside of the bearing its black tooth like fixed to the hub.
Is this sensor part of abs/ESP?
