drivers side door storage compartment is completely broken

Is a used door panel the easiest route or is there a repair kit?

i faced the same issue, but once the door card was removed, i ended up using a paper clip or something like that to repair. In my case, it was a plastic piece broken. After a few years, the fix works.

You may be able to tinker with it, but honestly a wrecking yard quasi complete door card may be easiest and a better result for rational $.

I was able to trim down a body push rivet, one of those Christmas tree looking pins. And it’s held up extremely well. It was a nice tight fit too. A bit of trial and error to get the size and trim off what I needed to.
