Default Do I just have a wide foot or...

I've noticed that since I've owned my A8 that depending on the shoe I wear my foot either barely fits between the sidewall and brake pedal or it is too wide. I end up having to slide my foot behind the brake pedal to hit the gas. This annoys me. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, any suggestion on remedying it?

I'm not fully understanding your question, but when I first got my A8 my foot would get caught up on the gas padal side sidewall when I would accelerate. I eventually adapted to the placement and you will likely as well.

You must have BIG feet for the need to go behind the brake pedal.

Have you had a look to see if you can shave the side of the brake pedal down to give more room?

No issues here and I wear a size 13, boots also. Are you wearing oversized clown shoes or something?

I have this issue with my S5, but only when wearing Nike Shox lol. Huge bulky shoes.

Next time you have a girl in the car tout that as a pickup line... "you know, my feet are so big they contact both pedals at once"

Well, I don't wear clown shoes but I do wear size 15. I measured the bottom of my "big" shoes and they are 5" wide at the ball of the foot. If you take a look at the attached photo you will see that there is just over 5" between the sidewall and the break pedal. Unfortunately the arm that the break pedal sits on comes pretty close to the right side of the pedal so doesn't appear to be much option for a remedy. I checked my other "normal" car and it's got an extra 3" between the sidewall and BP. I've had the car for over a year now so there's no getting used to it. I'll just live with it.

I think you could still shave the pedal at an angle from the arm down across the pedal surface to give you that bit extra clearance.
