Calling PaulW or others - TSB # 0504 or 10019109 needed
PaulW or anyone else. I'd like to get my hands on the TSB# 0504 (10019109). I've googled but cannot find the full version. PaulW, I've seen your post of other TSB's with the .pdf and that's what I'm looking for. Do you have this? I'm having trunk problems and would like to go to my dealer with some ammunition.

DanB, the car is A8 2004. Trunk is not closing fully on the passenger side. Had some problems a week ago in the cold weather closing the trunk fully. Now it closes but the right side is still lifted up a bit. Car is not under warranty so not sure if Audi will fix it for free. I've seen some post saying they will and others posts saying they will not. I do have extended warranty via 3rd party which I will call if dealer option does not work. But suspect they will say hinge or some other piece is not covered. Suggestions/advise?

IT's pierre over on the C6 Forum that has the TSB's. PaulW was just hyperlinking like I am..

sorry not covered,that is the hinges,drive motor
has been updated to newer motor and hinges are newer also,you may want to ck with extened warranty co.

To JET and Kris, sorry this happened. I think it's really too bad, and to think all the D2 A8 posts that I created are basically worthless to find now. They don't have pic or URL icons. I didn't write one book, I wrote two.
The D2 forum as it was has moved on. I wish it wasn't that way.
Good news is, I just got a ML350 and have asked the feedback forum at MBworld.org to upgrade to the new audiworld Vb software! Now that would be a vast improvement.
