Default Bang & Olafsen Tweeter wont rise.

Hi
I'm having some trouble.
My 07 A8 have Bang & Olafsen sound system and recently the front left tweeter wont rise anymore.
This is what VCDS says:

1 Fault Found:
03017 - Motor for Left Front Treble Speaker (V344)
003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100011
Fault Priority: 5
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 79
Mileage: 74732 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2015.12.26
Time: 19:58:43

Freeze Frame:
Voltage: 13.80 V
Temperature: 15.0°C
Bin. Bits: 00000100
Voltage: 14.00 V
Temperature: 20.0°C

I did already take it out and test the speaker using a alternate power source and it works perfectly fine.

Any one have an suggestions to make it go up?

Little gear inside it is broken. You have to buy a new tweeter or pry that one opened.

It actually moves when connecting power directly to it?
If so, the gear is not broken.

Depends. Compared with 99% of other cars - very.

Compared with the MB v12s, not as hyper smooth.

Worst is the sound. Very quiet, very not Ferrari...

Can/t compare it to other 12 cyl but compared to a V8, it is very smooth.

Yeah I gave it some power and it moves up and down, no issues.
I think the computer turned it off because it thinks its failing.
I read the codes when I first bought the car and it also said that the motor was failing but the tweeter still worked.
It stopped working after I took it to the dealership and they programmed my battery to the car.
I think I just need to reset it using VCDS but clearing the codes does nothing.

If your gear is broken you wouldn't get a fault code.

Start by clearing the fault history and see if it comes back.

If the speaker doesn't attempt to go up (you should hear the motor humming), try to check the fuse for the speakers in the trunk. I don't remember which one on top of my head. It's in ELSA though.

If this doesn't work and your motor is not attempting to lift the speaker, and you get the fault code back, probably your tweeter's motor is failing. That's a DIY.
