Default Audi S8 armrest

Hello.

I have a little problem and i think many D3 owners have it or may have in the future. My drivers side armrest locking device is broken. The plastic part that holds it in place. Has someone a solution for it?
Buying a new armrest from Audi is expensive i belive.
Any help or advice is super

fix it I've tried. It's the thin plastic loop the latch goes in that breaks. EBay is your best hope, but be aware most of them on there will have a broken driver's side latch.

I fixed mine with wire and a lighter.

Thanks for sharing that Dville. I like the way you think. I wanted to fix mine with something like that and I'm glad to see someone has done it with success.

What we really need is a 3d printing wizard to fab up some loops that won't break easily.
