Well I'm not at all pleased. I paid $62 more for the enhanced kit including shipping that I had to pay for. Kinda sucks. Thanks for overcharging me Blau.

I think we should both be credited the amount of price difference. After all it was me and you who basically gave them more sales by saying how good the kit was and reccomending them. I was also sent a wrong part in mine. I suggest if they want the same good praise they PM me with a generous refund for the change in price.

Some of us did not get the money we have by getting "sixty-two-dollared" to death.

Also, since I bought my A8L used in late 2005, I had hundreds of thousands of dollars in investments vaporize. Money market funds that now pay 1/10th of a percent aren't helping.

I bought my car with after tax earnings, Not any sort of company car or lease or anything like that which I believe a large percentage of A8's are.

I'll give you an example about the "wealthy"; My son has a small business that requires us to go to people's homes. He charges $25 for the service that typically takes 20-40 minutes. We do this at homes that are worth $100k to ones that are worth 1M which were worth 2M during the housing peak. When we're done and it's time to collect, the owners of the high end homes never, ever give him a tip. The ones on the lower quarter of the scale typically give a $5 tip and a few give a $10 tip.

It has been a very valuable lesson my son has learned. My late dad (a carpenter that I did side jobs with when I was a kid) taught me this when we needed to collect $6.93 for some supplies after doing a job. This was at a home in a well to do area in the early-mid '70's. The home owner had a brand new (just came out) 1st generation Seville in their circle driveway. When we went to collect, my dad said to me "watch this closely". We gave the guy the receipt from the hardware store for $6.93, do you think he gave us seven bucks? He gave my dad six bucks and pulled coins from his pocket and then had his wife open her purse for a dime and three pennies. A very important lesson I learned as a young kid.

And no, we do not take the A8 to do these jobs, we use out beat up '97 Chevy Venture rust bucket.

You must be an idiot if you don't care about your money. A penny is a penny. All adds up my friend; regardless I work hard for every penny, and always get the cheapest price.

This post has nothing to do with Blauparts; as they are a great company and do take care of their customers.

Why are you calling me an idiot? Someone who really watched their money and was concerned would email or call the vendor rather than bitch about it on a public forum.

I am new to this forum and come here to learn about the car and ask advice. It is obvious that not everyone does the same.

Be fair to the OP and contact them if you have an issue.
