Air suspension won’t perform adaptation
Okay so my suspension was working fine, all modes worked but I had a leak in the left front. Found leak was coming from the fitting, so I loosened just the airline fitting (not the pressure valve), trimmed the line a little bit and put new o-ring on the fitting. Reinstalled. Now the left side sits lower than and right side so I wanted to do the adaptation.
Whenever I try to run the first portion of adaptation (where suspension goes up and down) it doesn’t work. It stays at “WAIT”, the car doesn’t move and after awhile it gives me an ERROR. Tried with VCDS and ODIS and same issue. If I do the manual fill and bleed on the rear it works, if I do it on the front it does not work.
I’ve seen there’s issue with the pressure valves on the struts going bad causing the car to be stuck UP and not allow it to go down, but mine doesn’t look like it’s stuck all the way up or at least not on the left side.
Maybe it is just a bad valve, can someone explain how these valves work?

The residual pressure valves just stop the pressure in the airbag getting below a certain minimum to prevent the bag getting pitched and damaged. Did you swap over the residual pressure valve from the old strut, or install a new one? Could be a bad new valve.
Also as you trimmed the air line and put on a new o-ring, did you do that correctly, and with a correct size o-ring? There’s a chance that went wrong and the air line is blocked due to a rolled/pinched o-ring or similar. Go and check that again and ensure you’ve installed good parts correctly.
