I live in michigan, with the snow and the cold weather the air suspension messed up on me. the amber lights are both on the yellow and green lights. The front end is lowered and the rear end is on raised up all the way. Tried to fix it with the mmi but its stuck on lift mood cant change it at all. I dont hear anything from the air compressor like i use to hear. i turn off the car turn it back on and its the same. PLS let me know how can i fix this problem!

Are you able to get it into a garage to warm it up? I also live in MI and have to deal with this all the time. I believe my problem is mostly related to moisture in the lines that is freezing. If you are able thaw it out you may be able to get the ride height to return to normal. You also need to run a Vag-Com scan. If you don't have a scanner you should consider one. They are expensive but so are trips to the dealer.

Also, there are hundreds of threads on here with air suspension issues. Do a search and will find more info than you can imagine.

I fixed the problem. I took it to the shop and fixed it for 100$. It was the LEFT REAR SUSPENSION LEVELING SENSOR, it tricked the computer making the car not leveled. After repairing it. Everything is normal now. Even the air compressor is doing well.

Glad you fixed it. The most commom problems are one or both front shocks going bad or the front leveling sensor. The rear suspension rarely has problems but anything can happen if it has a lot of electronics and mechanics involved. You escaped lightly on that bill. Otherwise it would've been at least 600-800 minimum. Happy motoring .

I had the same problem this winter. When it gets 20 degrees or below the green and the yellow starts flashing, sometimes one steady the other blinks and vice versa.
Leave it on for about ten minutes or so, once the car worms up it will soften the rubber underneath on the suspension and the airlines again and eventually it will rise and the lights disappear.
I did the reading while the lights were flashing and this is what I got. Good luck...
Code: 01583- leak in system detected.
Code: 01772- signal from level control pressure sensor(G291) short circuit to another valve.
Code: 01400- suspension level control lower limit exceeded.
Code: 01577- turn-off due to over-temp. Value of resistance to small

I have an A8 D3 and have just had a similar problem only mine was while the weather was warm. Both lights for the suspension were flashing. There was a burning oil smell (might of been coincidence) but the garage i got it from said the smell would have been a failing compressor (after finding out this garage is intact full of S**t I'm not so sure) just wondered if any of you guys might know
