Aerial snapped - eay to replace?

Aerial snapped - eay to replace?
So my 1998 A8 was driven (not by me) through the car wash with the aerial up. The metal part snapped off at the base. Audi have quoted me £160 for a replacement.
Questions:
1. Anywhere I can get a cheaper one in the UK (apart from a breaker's yard - I don't really have the time to go ringing around a bunch of these on spec)?
2. Is it an easy thing to replace or do I need to get Audi to do it?
