75 or 105 ?
When is the proper interval for a timing belt change on a 2004 A8L? I've seen people changing them at 75. My friend brought his car in for a thermostat replacement at 74 and he asked about the timing belt. The dealer told him it doesn't need to be done until 105 ? Did the interval change over the years ?
Thanks
Thanks

I just had mine done a few months ago at about 55,000 as my dealer advised there is also a time limit restriction on the belts (makes sense, it is a belt not a chain). Even though the mileage was only 55k, the car is almost 10 years old. I thought they said the time restriction was 7 years, but I don't remember.
