Who has tint on their car and how much did you pay? I just got quoted a ridiculous price.

$350 for lifetime warranty using llumar tint on all 4 windows and the rear. They said the D2 is one of the most difficult cars to tint (smaller rear side window?).

Re: Who has tint on their car...
I paid about $280. They did say that the rear window was quite difficult, and they also had to take several passes at the front windows. But I'd say they turned out very well. Due to MD law, mine are 35%.

I paid $275.00. There are 7 windows total, the rear is tough to do properly, as it involves heat shrinking of a rough size on the outside of the window to get the compound shape, then put it on the inside and final cut to size. If your installer wants to make the rear window out of multiple strips, find somebody else!

35% I had a bronze 3M Tint put on ...... $180 or 220 cant remeber
But I gave the guys a $40 tip. They had to do it a couple of times on the back window.
I got a really good deal. I have had a lot of cars tinted and I would say that $300 - $350 is not unreasonable for this car.

20% on my car

My car has 20% on it. When I had it done, the installer had a hell of time getting the doors done properly as my car has the insulated (double pane) glass all the way around and the way the window fits in the run channel made especially hard. She had to get the front windows a few tries each before it looked good. I paid $250 for mine. I also have the windshield done with a light tint as I love the way it looks and it helps with glare at night.
Crappy cell pic is all I have atm.
