Default Swapping transmission ECU's what do the letters at the end mean?
I have made a few posts regarding the problems I have been having with my auto gearbox. The garage is saying that it is the tranmission ECU causing the problems. I want to swap the gearbox ECU with another to to either fix the problem or eliminate that option.
My gearbox ECU details are

Part No. 4B0 927 156 BT

ZF No. 6058 004 030

Bosch part No. 0 260 002 657

there are a lot of 4D0 927 156 XX.. about, are there any codes that work? my gearbox is a EFN code..

Those XX suffixes are for different cars,gearboxes etc. It doesn't mean they're just interchangable.

Default On our FBG's some of the TCU's are intercheangeable,
but unless you know that a specific TCU will work on the car do not buy anything but 4B0927156BT.
