Sunroof problem ... no fault code
Hello,
Perhaps have you an idea about my sunroof problrm on my A8 3,3L TDI here in France.
My sunroof is block in open position, impossible to close it.
When I want to open it this afternoon, it was difficult, 1 position by one, not in a linear movement.
Now it is full open and don't want to close...
I pass the VAGcom tool ; everything is correct !!!!
Thanks for your help.
Excuse my awful language, I am best in French...

I have found the problem
It was not so difficult in a first time to close the sunroof with an hexa key directly in the motor.
Here we call this key 'BTR'.
After a control of wiring and connections, nothing is found and the sunroof don't work.
So I look in fuses box and move all fuses ... And the sunroof is now OK....
I hope this Post help you in future, but I prefer you not have this breaddown.
Thanks to read me.
Have good holidays.

Hey,
I have the EXACT same problem with my A6. Today I was driving around with my girl friend when I tried to open the sunroof. It opened gradually, step by step. The sunroof did not have a linear movement. I taped it up as it was also raining outside. I am really scared that it might be something mechanical. I hope it is just the fuses and that is it.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Greeting from Romania,
Serge
