Question: If a car is completely cold (i.e. hasn't been driven in a day or so), how much coolant
is in the tubes where the bleeder/vent ***** are (up by the firewall)? The reason I ask is that I have to replace those darn o-rings due to a small leak, and I'm hoping I don't have to drain all the coolant.

No need to drain: they are at the highest point of the system. Just make sure the engine is cold...
...so the coolant system has no pressure.
Please let me know where you can find OEM replacement rings: I bought some at a hardwarre store but they are not a perfect fit.

Oh, I was just going to get the o-rings from the hardware store with the size listed in the
audipages faq (or was it in a separate post?). Either way, it's stated that the ones from the hardware store are a tight fit, but a fit nonetheless. Can anyone else verify this?

I have a set of metric o-rings in the garage.....I could give you two
I bought a little metric o-ring kit that had a bunch of them....the dealer could never find the part number for me.....
However, I am out of town until a week from tomorrow....the kit is about $10 at pep boys or the like

Ooh, sweet! That would be great! I too will be out of town all next week, so maybe the following
weekend? Either way, I'll get in touch with you when we get back. Thanks, Paul!
