Default Lost my keys >.<

So I lost my keys on friday night... There is a shop about an hour away from me that I could get another set but since its the weekend I cant get ahold of them quite yet.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how much it would cost and if there are better places to get them like online?

Its a 1999 Audi A8 Quattro.
Thanks for the input!

Is it a facelift or pre facelift car?
I'm tempted to go through my immobiliser speech, but I think PF cars in North America had that feature disabled. In which case your options open up considerably.

If it is equipped with an immobiliser, replacing keys becomes a bit more complicated and the cost could be $600 from a dealer.

If you give your dealer your VIN number, they should be able to cut you a key on the spot. Your car is NOT Immobilizer equipped.

If you are being a super cheapskate, you only really need to buy the key head from the dealer. You can get the remote end of the key assembly on-line cheap.

Cool beans, well on a strike of luck a co worker drove by where my car was and found them about 20 yards away in some long grass.

That is kind of crazy that a key can be like 600 bucks though!

I'm going to talk to my loan person tomorrow and see if I cant get my loan increased a little bit so I can get the 150k mile maintenance done... I'm about 10k overdue now :/
Sucks cause its a $1500 fix at a shop, but oh well. I love this car and want to hold onto it for at least a while longer heh.

Borrowing money for car maintenance? Honestly it would be much wiser to sell the car and bus/bike/drive a 91 Honda.
