Does anyone have rear upper shock absorber mounts 4D0512169D for sale or know where can I get them? Do you know if the ones from D3 model 8E0513353B can be retrofitted to work? I have everything I need for for front and rear suspension except from these...

These have been NLA for years now. I have no idea if the D3 part close enough to work.
I've been fortunate and was able to reuse mine.
Have you inspected yours or are you just being preventative?

They have already been inspected. I found 2 used in Poland. There is a company in Ukraine that renews them with polyurethane but you need to ship them your as they don't stock them and my car is being daily driven (2001 A8L with 265k miles and Tozo's rebuilt at 225k).

The reason why I am asking about the D3's is because I just recently got the D3 blower fan and just retrofitted the wires so I am willing to do some drilling, griding if it will work.
