My mota

Hi fellas,
It's been a while since I was last on this forum, so thought I'd post a pic of my beautiful 2000 A8. A 4.2 QS model with a hand crafted exhaust (follow the link in my sig for more) and 20" Lorinser LM6's. Soon to have an AP Racing 6-pot 356mm front brake upgrade.
Oh yeah, she's done 154k miles too......doesn't look like she has though, hey?

Exhaust questions
Did you ever run with this exhaust before converting to quad tips? If so, how did it sound?

Why do you convert to the quad tips? I assume the center resonator/muffler is still gone? How does it sound now?

Re: Exhaust questions
Hi Randy,
I went for the quad tips from the off, as it was the look I was after. I've put a link in this thread to the first start of the '8 with the new Zorst. Awesome I'm sure you'll agree. I've got a video clip somewhere too of me driving the car on a racing circuit over here, this should give you an idea of how she sounds too

http://www.geocities.com/ttandka/New_Zorst_1st_Start.wav</a

Re: those rims look beatiful and the sound is ....mean and I'm interesting
Thanks guys, I do enjoy my mota, she's a wonderful creature to drive. And with 154k Miles on the clock, she still drives beautifully.
The sound inside the cabing takes some getting used to, but I'll be honest, there are times when I turn the stereo off just so I can hear the exhaust.
The exhaust has an even better sound now she's 'bedded' in, something kind of wonderful
